Really there is none, apart from the visual side. However, html code is always developing.
Flash sites
Pros:
Interactive, imbedded games and animations.
Cons:
Sometimes hard to update, takes time to load, doesn't run well - or at all in all browsers and search engines can't detect the text.
WordPress
Pros:
Easy to update, lots of 'plug-ins' and always updating.
Cons:
Too small and simple to really handle ecommerce operations, lacks visual entertainment.

The best option for your site, would be to have the choice for viewers to choose between Flash or Html, before they enter the site. Or a mixture of Flash and Html.
