This unique rhyming story was specifically written with phonic words to encouage beginner readers to attempt to read on by thier own, by the use of carfully selected words which contain only the basic letter sounds. This enables a beginner reader to spell out every word, letter-by-letter, thereby learning how words are formed and linked together to create meaningful sentences. There are no "hard" words that can baffle and dicourage the novice.
